No experience is needed! The workshop is designed to be inclusive and accessible, regardless of your vocal background.

You’ll explore mindful awareness through vocal exercises, group chanting, and listening practices, helping you connect with your voice and the present moment.

6. Where is the workshop located?
The workshop will take place at Bayford Village Hall, Wincanton, Somerset BA9 9NL.
7. When is the workshop, and how long does it last?
The workshop will run on 13 October from 10am to 1pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled.
8. How much does the workshop cost?
The workshop fee is £45 Standard ticket price and £35 for residents of Bayford Village.

10. What should I wear and bring?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows for free movement. You may also bring a water bottle and a notebook if you’d like to take notes, though this is optional.

We’ll engage in vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, group chanting, and playful sound exploration. There will also be moments of reflection and mindfulness practice.

Yes, group singing is part of the experience. However, there’s no pressure to perform; the focus is on enjoying the process and being present.

Many participants feel nervous at first, but the environment is supportive and non-judgmental. You’re encouraged to embrace the process at your own pace, without pressure.
14.Will there be solo singing?
Solo singing is not required. The workshop is focused on group activities, though you’ll have space to explore your own voice if you feel comfortable.

15.What happens if I need a break?
You’re welcome to take a break at any time during the workshop. There will also be a designated break halfway through the session.
16.Is this workshop suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. The workshop is designed to be accessible for all levels, including complete beginners who may have never sung in a group before.
